Ravine Home
This is a project I was hired for by Vacuum Design, a web development company based in Squamish and Vancouver’s North Shore. The request was for help optimizing a new website on behalf of Modsy, a company that offers interior design solutions online. This website features the team’s new custom sofa and seating collection, under the Ravine Home brand.
I provided keyword research and implementation for on-page optimization of the primary website pages. It’s always a unique challenge to optimize content that is already written, and often this requires some back and forth with clients to find juuust the right balance of strategy and style. In terms of time, working with pre-existing content can take longer to finesse. Sometimes it can be more effective to write from scratch with a keyword strategy as a guide so that you’re inherently speaking to thousands of searchers who—by nature of their keyword behaviour—are looking for you.
Either way, as a copywriter or a copyeditor, when clients walk away happy with how everything comes across, and I can feel confident that the best keyword delivery is being made for each page, it’s hugely satisfying!
